A Season for Coming Home

There are seasons when the invitation is to reach outward, and seasons when something quieter asks us to turn toward ourselves. Through the symbolic language of astrology, this late October offers a potent invitation to return—to what we value, what we have left unspoken, and the parts of ourselves we long to welcome home.

The invitation beneath the surface

The Sun is in Scorpio, a sign associated with depth, endings, and transformation. Its symbolism invites us to sit with what lies beneath the familiar story of our lives. What have we outgrown? What still asks for tenderness? What feels ready to be met with honesty?

These questions have a natural place in soul retrieval. Within this spiritual practice, aspects of the self are understood as sometimes becoming distant or inaccessible through painful experiences. The work is an invitation to reconnect with those aspects and make room for their return.

Scorpio season offers a meaningful setting for that intention: a willingness to meet what has been hidden, with care and respect for our own pace.

Returning to what matters

Venus and Mercury are both retrograde now. Venus began its retrograde in Scorpio on October 3 and returned to Libra on October 25; Mercury turned retrograde in Scorpio on October 24. Both turn direct on November 13.

In astrological interpretation, these cycles can be approached as a time for revisiting. Venus brings questions of relationship, worth, and belonging. Mercury invites reflection on the stories we carry and the words we have struggled to find.

Alongside a soul retrieval intention, those themes might become gentle questions: Where have I made myself smaller to preserve connection? What do I miss about the way I once expressed myself? What would it mean to listen to my own needs again?

There is room to ask without demanding an immediate answer.

A place to land

The Taurus full moon reached its peak on October 25 here on the Pacific coast, appearing as October 26 in many calendars. Symbolically, Taurus brings us toward the tangible: earth beneath our feet, nourishment, rest, and the comfort of familiar things.

This is a valuable companion to any inward journey. Coming home to ourselves needs space in ordinary life. A quiet walk, a warm meal, a few words in a journal, or time set aside to rest can give our intentions somewhere to take root.

An invitation, in your own time

Taken together, these astrological themes offer a meaningful season for soul retrieval: depth, return, and a grounded welcome for whatever we are ready to reconnect with.

Astrology is a spiritual and symbolic lens here. Your readiness matters more than a date on the calendar. There is no need to rush toward an experience or force a revelation.

If you feel drawn to this work, you might begin with one quiet question:

If I could change anything about my life, what would it be?

A soul retrieval can help bring your dreams into reality because the energetic foundations are where changes take root.
